Rockla Lake

Rocla lake goes back a long way, and features in the incredible British Masters Angling competitions all those years ago. Rocla is probably the most interesting lake on the complex in terms of features to fish to. It is a sizeable water featuring secluded bays, islands, shallows, deeps and more.

An interesting lake full of features to fish to. Stock like a box of chocolates.

What you need to know?

The fish love to seek the dense Norfolk Reedbeds during winter and hug the island in the warmer months, although they can also be tempted over bait in open water.

They love boilies so a good spread can often produce the goods. Use a throwing stick for this. There is also a decent head of bream in Rocla so use larger baits around 18mm in size if you want to try and avoid them because they can be prolific. Stay away from pellets, again if you want to deter the bream.

What you need to try!
