Park Farm One

Park Farm One is an intimate little lake located along a private driveway and is therefore a lovely quiet spot to get away from it all. It is only a small water, but still boasts several features and some rather nice, scaly carp to go at. At one end there is a large bay that gives you the option of fishing to the overhanging trees. This can be a cracking spot when the time is right. Some of the margins are undercut meaning that the closer you fish, the quicker the bite. Try bright pop-ups and mesh bags of crumb and pellet.

The Point is a very popular swim because it gives you access to the open water and a bar that runs along the middle area. The fish love patrolling this and so a bait close by will often score. Try bottom baits on the bar with spod mix over the top.

Move along the lake you finally reach another quiet bay and the fish love to get in here too, especially when it’s warm. Look for coloured water, bubblers, shows and other telltale signs of activity and you have a chance of a bite or two.

The Park Farm Carp also respond well to floaters and zigs so make sure that these tactics aren’t neglected.

Tranquil peaceful fishing with some lovely scaly carp that can be caught all-year round.
